In VLC media player 2.0.7 Twoflower, I am not able to locate the
playback speed button's in the interface used for Microsoft 8.

My prior version had a playback speed that was located to the left of the
volume control but in the current version I cannot find the playback speed
control.

I do online schooling and I find when I listen to a lecture for the second
and third time, I do not need to listen at 1.0 speed. For the second and
third times, I can listen to it at 1.5 or 2.0 speed and even some lecture I
can listen to 3.0 speed, but in this current version that control seems to
be taken away.

Is clicking on the menu and choosing "Faster" the only way to increase
speed for listening? Why was the control on the interface taken away???

The speed control for playback located on the interface itself was a great
idea, can it be brought back?

Thx, VT
