vlc crashes

Dear list,
i have an opensuse 12.3 x8_64 system with VLC media player 2.0.7.
When i want to open an mp4 file vlc crashes immediately without saying
why (mplayer on tge same file works).
Sometimes there is a segmentation fault message.
I have added the output of 'vlc -vvvv file.mp4'.

'rpm -qa | grep vlc` gives:

to debug it).
