Multicast content playing issue in new version vlc

Dear Team,

I have one multicast source which I can play in VLC media player 2.0.0 
Twoflower but I can't play the same source in  new version VLC media 
player 2.1.2 Rincewind. Can anybody suggest how can I get that multicast 
content in new vlc media player.

The format I'm using is
udp://@multicast-ip-address:port
