Question Regarding VLC commandline

Hi All,

When working with VLC (2.1.3 and 2.1.4) on the command line, it always opens a new console window to display the log. How can I display the log in the same window from where I am executing the vlc.exe. This behaviour was observed on Windows. Can anyone have some insight into this? Waiting reply. Thanks for your time.
