AW: AW: Problem runnning vlcs

Hi Alexis,

my vls streams three different sat-tv programs without any
problems and needs about 4% cpu-power for each stream.
Here is my config file of vlcs:
------------- vlcs.conf ---------
I: nostream
udp:@239.255.12.42
udp:@239.255.12.43
udp:@239.255.12.44
------------- end ---------------

The 80% cpu-power is only wasted, if I start the vlcs with the
following shell-script:
------------ start_vlcs ----------
cd /usr/src/miniVLCS-0.1.2/
./vlcs &>/var/log/vlcs &
----------- end ------------------

If I try to start vlcs directly at the console, I get the following
output:

sat_neu:/usr/src/miniVLCS # ./vlcs &>/var/log/vlcs &
[2] 5060
sat_neu:/usr/src/miniVLCS #
[2]+  Stopped                 ./vlcs >&/var/log/vlcs
sat_neu:/usr/src/miniVLCS #

I have tried version 0.1.2 as well as the cvs-version. Both have the
same behaviour.
