I got same problem with the "crash" after playing one file. Looks like a
dead lock but I didn't found it.

Has somebody found that dead lock on windows port?

I got the source code of vls. I have read usage docs but found no
information
on how to place authorization feature  to the protocol so, it is not
open-for-
everyone. Has this been implemented? If not, I would also need vlc source,

implement it?

Secondly, while using vls (win2k server), I have noticed it crashes as soon
at
the source stream ends. I have no clue on the resaon.
Finally, Is there a way to make this server live-all-the time? I mean it
should
be supplied by something like a playlist and keep playing this. This won't
work
unless the last problem of crashing solves :(

Please let me know if any solutions to these queries exists.

I want to switch from Widnows Media Server to this one. That is giving huge
quality losses during encoding. I love vls since it streaming mpg itself.
