debug vls and vlc in cygwin

hello, everyone:
  I have a problem about vls and vlc developing. 
i want to debug vls and vlc in cygwin, but I always 
get error message when make after ./configure.
I think there are some wrong configuration in the
project. but I cannot determine what I should adjust.
