Just an idea for an additional vls command interface: Why not add a configurable "command" and "result" file interface - vls reads the command file, treats each line as a command and removes the line - and write any responses to the result file? I guess it would be simple to implement. And it would be an easy to use interface for webpages (much easier than telnet). Command and result files of course set up in vls.cfg.
