Hello Again
I have tried to get a working version of VLS up and running on my Suse
Linux 8.1 box. I have buildt the VLS program and the VLC program from
tarballs and they have buildt fine. I had some initial problems with the
libdvb (VLS), but I skipped it with the --disable-dvb configure flag. So, I
now have a running version of VLS 0.5.0.
I am now trying to get my v4l compatable Osprey210 card working. The v4l
bttv driver works fine with the card. Applications motv and WinTV reads the
data from the board without any problem. Including the section of the
system log which loads the driver.

I am configuring the vls.cfg file with the following sections:

I then start the vls program. No messages shows up on the screen.
I then login with telnet
telnet localhost 9999 (default port), enter master login name and password
and execute the browse command.

I then try to start the channel, but I am not able to enter all the
parameters. It needs <program> <channel> and <inputs>.
When I try to start the stream with: start video multicast pvr; the telnet
session frezes up and when I kill the vls process
it is printing:

Q1: How do I start the card streaming? What should I enter in 'start
<program> <channel> and <inputs>'?
Q2: What is the difference between the 'video' and the 'v4l' parameter TYPE
in inputs section?
Q3: Why is vls complaining about 'invalid parameter' if I try to use the
'v4l' parameter?
Q4: If 'v4l' is a valid inputs type, how should the section look like?
Example is missing in doc.
