Hello all, I am trying to view an divx encoded movie over the Internet by using RTSP VoD. Everything is working out except for the audio, it is very choppy, I can make out a word in every ten or perhaps twenty seconds. Looking at "Stream and Media" info I can see the audio "Lost buffers" counter increasing like crazy. About 75% of all audio buffers are lost. This is over the Internet, but not very far, within the same city so latency is ~2ms. Bandwidth is 100Mbps in both ends. Video is working flawlessly. I have also tried viewing the VoD with mplayer which results in quite crappy video - vlc does a much better job with the video. But audio works fine in mplayer. If I try ffplay I get good looking video with good audio though it runs out of sync after a while (which apparently is a known bug in ffplay). Where should I begin troubleshooting? Any tips or hints are highly appreciated. Thank you, Kristian. -- Kristian Larsson KLL-RIPE Network Engineer & Peering Coordinator SpriteLink [AS39525] +46 704 910401 [email protected] _______________________________________________ streaming mailing list To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options: http://mailman.videolan.org/listinfo/streaming
