[streaming] can it be done?

hi, there,

I am thinking using VideoLan to transport MPEG4 video frames.

I have my implementation of MPEG4 codec that will encode a stream of BMPs
into a sequence of MPEG4 frames and decode them back to BMPs at the other
end of the network.

The sticky part is that I need to add some custom data (bounding boxes etc)
for each encoded frames.

The transport will be done using multicast.

Can they be done using VideoLan streaming? If yes, where is the best place
to get it started?
