[streaming] how to get network information?

Hi,

I'm new in vlc and I'm a computer science researcher. I would like to make
some experiments using streaming of a video over a wireless intra net. To
evaluate the performance of the video and the network, I need some
information about the network, like packet loss, delay, jitter and others
about the average frame rate. I'd like to know where and how can I obtain
theses parameters?
