While I am moderately technical on a PC in general, I don't know anything a=
bout streaming.=A0 I am going to be at a youth event where the older kids w=
ill be in one room and the younger kids will be in another room.=A0 I would=
like to use my camcorder in the room with the older kids and stream that l=
ive audio/video with a PC to a projector in the room with the small kids.=
=A0 I can reach that room with a wireless router.
I have VLC 1.1.6 on both PCs.=A0 I have been able to get the source PC (wit=
h the camcorder) to 'stream' (I think) with UDP, but I cannot figure out ho=
w to get the other PC to show that stream.
=A0
The source PC - I select Media / Open Capture Device.=A0 I then select 'Str=
eam'.=A0 After 'next', I add UDP (and display locally) as a destination and=
Video-WMV/WMA as a profile.=A0 For the UDP network address, I put the IP a=
ddress of the destination PC.=A0 The camcorder picture comes through on the=
 source machine.
=A0
On the destination PC, I select open network stream and enter the IP addres=
s of the source PC and click stream.=A0 But nothing seems to happen.
=A0
Ideas....
