Re: handling windows codecs?

actually I need to decode/encode wmv/wma files as part of the NMM
(http://www.networkmultimedia.org) project. So I was wondering what
approaches have been used by the different open source projects
already out there before I started implementation. Till now, it seems
that ffmpeg seems the most feasible and convenient option. Though Im
not sure to what extent they support it (i.e. can it also handle
recent wmv codecs like wmv9)?
