What about 1.2.8 ? 1.2.7 was tagged, let's not change the tag and go 
with another one that follows the naming of the others.

Also, 1.2.8 would then have your changes since 1.2.7 and possibly 
Mikko's fixes too.

You mean, one could have main package for xine-lib in Fedora with all 
the patented parts removed and another complementary package in RPM 
Fusion with only the patented parts ?
