New xine-ui and gxine releases are now available from the usual
location. Looks like I was doing xine-ui release last summer, but
forgot to tag it and create the tarball ...

gxine has now Gtk3 support (--with-gtk3 configure option, disabled by
default). It would be nice to have some feedback about it.

I didn't have time to do all tests for xine-lib release yet.
Are there any known regressions ? (bug tracker seems to be down ...)
Torsten, do you think current hg head is stable enough ?
