Yes, indeed. Those patches are in fact a regional chainsaw massacre.
They break rv decoding, and they break timing for all other video.

BTW. Surprisingly, I could turn on all new modes with my old post 5.1
snapshot (that did not yet give deprecation warnings), and they work :-)
This pleased me because I probably cannot even build newer ffmpeg with
my old compilers. Years ago, I pretty much failed upgrading just the
compiler on top of a running system :-/
