Re: xine/gentoo/alsa no sound (FAQ doesn't help)

Ok. I seemed to get it fixed.  This won't make sense to
non-gentoo users but what I changed was to add

   "a52 dts vcd win32codecs xine xvmc"

to my USE flags and then I did
   emerge --update --deep --newuse world
which recompiled about 8 packages. I can't say exactly
which use flag fixed or which package was the culprit
though.

I still get the XVideo warning but it only happens when I
quit so I think everything is working like it should.
