Resume playback at last location

Is there any support either in side xine or from helper apps to allow 
xine to resume playback from it last locations, I'm thinking dvds and 
movie length video files.  I would be nice to be able to stop the movie 
(quite xine) then at a later time launch xine back up again and resume 
where I left off.
