No sliders to contrast, brightness, etc...

Hello,

When I run xine; there is no sliders for contrast, brightness, 
saturation, etc... What I feels strange is that xvinfo seems to say that 
my hardware support it. I use xine 0.99.5 (from the mandriva 2008.0 
distribution) with the intel video driver. I attach the output of 
xvinfo. I face the same problem with mplayer where I can't set the 
brightness, etc...
