That didn't work.  I just inserted #include <limits.h> in 
src/input/vcd/libcdio/_cdio_linux.c and it compiled fine.

I built xine-lib, but now I'm having a problem with xine-ui:

In fc5 this definition is provided by the mesa-libGL-devel package in 
/usr/include/GL/vms_x_fix.h, in in Fedora 8 the mesa-libGL-devel package 
does not provide a vms_x_fix.h
