Re: windows media in Xine and gxine

Hi all, even with
w32codec-all-20061022-0.pm.1.i586.rpm
package installed, when I try to play a wmv file
in gxine or xine, it pops up the error banner:

The xine engine failed to start.
No demmuxer found - stream format not recognized.

There are 136 files in this codecs rpm, and apparently either
xine/gxine does not use that library path, or the rpm
lacks the demuxer plugin.
