Are this packages full featured, or crippled? Most distributions do not
provide a full featured xine-lib, a lot of codecs are deactiveated
(SUSE cripples, AFAIK RedHat/Fedora also removes codecs).
You have installed two different plugins (xine-plugin and
gxine-mozplugin), you should limit it to one version.
