That was over 40K. Next time, you should gzip it, and maybe send privately
(and preferably without the HTML duplication of the message) :-\

Anyway, current hg head should be a bit more helpful, at least wrt
config.log. (I had intended to say "run 'sh -x configure'...)

It's probably also worth trying (separately, of course)
--with-logo-format=image and --with-logo-format=mpeg.
