Try an amplifier or an attenuator (depending on the reported signal
strength), or the current v4l-dvb drivers instead of what you're (presumably)
currently using.

You should be looking at http://linuxtv.org/ and using the information on
that site or, if that's not enough for you, making use of one of their
mailing lists or IRC
channels.

Hmm. Tainted kernel... there are open-source drivers for that card, but
(AFAIK) they currently lack 3D.
