Should be fine. xine-lib 1.1.13 knows about a few more MIME types, and
current hg is able to use the content type reported by the server (for HTTP
streams).

Will work, so long as the server isn't Windows Media Server (patches which
implement WM client support will be considered).

You'll probably want the Real codecs, though the ffmpeg libraries may well be
sufficient and are in some cases better – cook audio on amd64, for example.
