How to get smoother OpenGL playback?

Hello,

after having the worst symptoms solved, described in the other thread, 
opengl works now. It is just slow, xshm is smoother than opengl, though 
the opposite should be true.

What xine settings are best to be changed to get smoother opengl 
playback? Below are the messages xine produces when playing a video 
with opengl output.
