Xine crashing and hanging a lot (with backtrace)

Hello,

I'm having major crashing issues with Xine. If anyone has ANY ideas to
help me, I would be very appreciative! It is driving me nuts because it
is making amarok completely inoperable.

I'm running Xine 1.1.14 on Gentoo x86.
Here's the backtrace from a crash on open. It will also crash at certain
points when playing some mp3s.
