can't fast forward in musepack files

Hi,

when I play a musepack file and want to jump to a specific time the sound 
stopps for 10 seconds and the slider doesn't move.
I have this problem only with xine based players.

I use ubuntu 8.04 and  xine-lib 1.1.11. I instaled everything with apt-get.
Soundcard: audigy2

I don't have any error messages when I start gxine or amarok.
