Hi, According to: http://xinehq.de/index.php/readme#2.4.5 you can pass config-file options to xine by command-line parameters. So I am trying to do this: xine -phq "opt:audio.output.speaker_arrangement=Pass Through" dvd:/srv/DVD/Ripped_DVD1/ However, when I try this on xine, with either v0.99.4 or 0.99.5, I get: ---------------------- (ERROR) ---------------------- The specified file or mrl is not found. Please check it twice. (opt:audio.output.speaker_arrangement=Pass Through) ------------------ (END OF ERROR) ------------------- ---------------------- (ERROR) ---------------------- got XINE_ERROR_NO_INPUT_PLUGIN. ------------------ (END OF ERROR) ------------------- ---------------------- (ERROR) ---------------------- - xine engine error - There is no input plugin available to handle 'opt:audio.output.speaker_arrangement=Pass Through'. Maybe MRL syntax is wrong or file/stream source doesn't exist. ------------------ (END OF ERROR) ------------------- Thanks in advance, John Karp ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/
