Well, there's your problem right there. Very clearly described.

When you downloaded it, where was the file saved? I'm guessing that this
isn't the same directory as that shell's current directory...

You're supposed to take notice of this kind of thing. Really. Did you just
try that command, see it fail, then immediately post here? I hope not, but
that's the impression that I'm getting – that you're not really doing any
thinking for yourself – and that's Not Good.

Install it using your distribution's package manager? That should ALWAYS be
what you try first, and you've given no indication that you've done this.
