dvb sound PB

Hi list,

I've got something strange on DVB reading: xine becomes muted when I choose
another language than mine (french) - locale is utf-8, excepted for
LC_ALL=<nil>, and LC_MESSAGES & LC_NUMERIC=C.

However, kaffeine reads other languages without a glitch (same channel of
course:)

Does anybody knows where this could come from?
