Hi, I've been using xine for years. It's worked so well for at least 5-6 years that I've cannot remember having a problem with it. However recently I started using Handbrake to rip my old DVD collection because my new TV can play mp4's off of a USB hard drive. This has worked well until I started looking at different options in Handbrake, one being the inclusion of an AC3 passthrough audio layer in the mp4. My TV doesn't have any problem with that being in the mp4 file - as best I can tell it doesn't use it in any way - but xine crashes immediately when starting to play any file where I've included the AC3 passthrough. Is this a known issue with xine? A problem with Handbrake's implementation? If there's some debug or log file info I could post to help let me know. If someone needs an mp4 file from Handbrake I could probably provide that also.
