Hi,

I recently swapped my old 28-inch CRT tv for a 42" flatpanel set. In my
Twinview setup I have a 19-inch monitor @ 1280 * 1024 as the primary
display and the new flatpanel @ 1920 * 1080 as secondary.

When starting the dialogue Open File/Playlist/Location, I noticed that
xine-ui places the window 'Stream(s) Loading' always centered in the
Twinview screen, which is now 3200 px (with the 28-inch only 2048 px)
wide with the new secondary display. The location after dragging it
somewhere else is forgotten after restarting xine. This means that in my
situation the window is always placed on the secondary display, which is
quite awkward: In order to use it I have to drag it to the primary
display or, I have to change the Twinview config in case the tv set is
turned off.

I didn't find a way to manipulate the placement of 'Stream(s) Loading'
in the config file (unlike some other windows, whose placement can be
changed / remembered across restarts), so this seems to be hard coded
(?). My 'quick' fix was to define a rule in the KDE window manager
(System Settings -> Window Behaviour -> Window Rules).

If it is indeed the case that the placement of the Open File-window is
hardcoded to be in the center of the screen, I'd like to propose this to
be changed to, for example, to a region close to the xine panel window,
or to leave its coordinates user-configurable or remembered.

Thanks for your time and all the good work on my favourite media player
for so many years!
