xine crashing with mp4's from a new Handbrake install

Hi,
   At the outset, I don't really think this is purely a xine issue but
more likely something about the way I build xine on Gentoo or more
likely new mp4 files. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

   I've used Handbrake on Gentoo for quite awhile and never had much
trouble with xine or any other player. However I was getting Handbrake
from an overlay which seems to have gone dead soI've put together my
own local overlay. Handbrake seems to rip fine, and the mp4s play fine
on my TV using it's built-in software to play from the USB drive, but
xine is crashing with these new files like this:

   Similar movies ripped with the same version of Handbrake but built
from the old overlay play fine. It seems to me that the biggest
difference shown here is the audio stuff.

   Not knowing what else to supply on this first email I ran exiftool
on both files and have a diff shown below. T1 is the file that plays,
T2 is the file that causes xine to crash:
