Dear xvid devs,

Jonas Smedegaard of the Debian pkg-multimedia team has found a syntax 
error in build/generic/configure.in which causes autoconf to output a 
badly formatted configure script. Please find the patch to fix this 
issue in the Debian packaging tree:
