Everyone is blue :(

Hi,

I installed the XVid codec to play some movies compressed with XVid.
Trouble is when I play them the skin of the people in the movies is 
blue??? It looks very wierd.  It happens on all the movies I have, have they
been badly compressed/decompressed or is there something I can do to
get the movies to go back to normal without the wierd blue alien look?
