Hi, OK, so evidently you silently block non-subscribers' mail from the list without mentioning the fact on the list info pages, as I tried to post yesterday and nothing went through. I don't like having to go subscribing to random lists just to post *one* message, and if I have to send the same one twice that sucks. *sigh* I'll just cut-and-paste what I wrote then, if you don't mind: I'm not a regular XviD user, I was just in the process of getting the V1 release before compiling the latest MPlayer. I noticed that the md5sums file wasn't the one for the 1.0.0 release but the 1.0.0-rc4 release, and all the checksums are indeed different. Yeah, so I'm being a bit paranoid, but the checksums are there for a reason, and I know there've been cases of certain project's servers being compromised and giving out altered source code, so I prefer to be cautious! Thanks in advance, Tom Barnes-Lawrence -- Signature? I have no need of signatures
