what's the mechanism of xvid's quantisation

	hi...all
	i am reading xvid's source code,but i am puzzle something. first,i could't understand the mechanism of xvid's quantisation.

	i know that xvid use h.263 and mpeg quantisation mode.but i couldn't know how the quant_scale come in.
	
	i can see in the function SetMacroblockQuants(encoder.c line1384) ,that set macroblock's quant whit "quant ＋ pMb->dquant"(encoder.c line1400).
	also i can see in the function MBSetDquant (encoder.c line818),that adjust dquant of macroblock. 

	but i don't find macroblock's dquant,frame's and macroblock's quant initial .

	please help me
