transcode 6.2 & xvid 0.9.0 multipass

Anybody manage multipass encoding using xvid & transcode with the most 
recent "stable" versions (both pretty recent)? Seems to work without 
multipass.

nice -n 18 transcode -i /dev/loop/0 -x dvd -y xvid -A -N 0x2000 -g 
720x480 -M 4 -Z 720x540 -w 1800,250,100 -a 0 -T 1,-1,1 -R 1 -o /dev/null

critical error: failed to init encoder - exit
Segmentation fault

xvid, xvidcvs and xvidraw were tested as output

running on an athlon-xp system, gcc 3.2, CFLAGS uncommented for 
686/athlon-xp in makefile
