Hello, I got a problem with _importing_ XviD codec material. This is the output of transcode: --- transcode v0.6.14 (C) 2001-2003 Thomas Oestreich, 2003-2004 T. Bitterberg [transcode] (probe) suggested AV correction -D 0 (0 ms) | AV 0 ms | 0 ms [transcode] auto-probing source xvid-1-1-pass1.avi (ok) [transcode] V: import format | XviD RIFF data, AVI (V=xvid|A=null) [transcode] V: import frame | 720x416 1.73:1 [transcode] V: bits/pixel | 0.240 [transcode] V: decoding fps,frc | 25.000,3 [transcode] V: Y'CbCr | YV12/I420 [transcode] A: import format | 0x2000 AC3 [ 0,16,0] [transcode] A: export format | 0x55 MPEG layer-3 [ 0,16,0] 128 kbps [transcode] V: encoding fps,frc | 25.000,3 [transcode] A: bytes per frame | 0 (0.000000) [transcode] A: adjustment | 0@1000 [transcode] V: IA32 accel mode | sse (sse 3dnowext 3dnow mmxext mmx asm C) tc_memcpy: using mmxext for memcpy [transcode] V: video buffer | 10 @ 720x416 [import_null.so] v0.2.0 (2002-01-19) (video) null | (audio) null [import_xvid.so] v0.0.3 (2003-11-29) (video) XviD/OpenDivX/DivX 4.xx/5.xx [export_ffmpeg.so] v0.3.13 (2004-08-03) (video) FFmpeg0.4.9-pre1b4718 | (audio) MPEG/AC3/PCM XviD_init: /usr/local/lib/libxvidcore.so: undefined symbol: xvid_init failed to init Xvid codec video import module error: OPEN failed [transcode] critical: failed to open input source --- There You can clearly read: " "XviD_init: /usr/local/lib/libxvidcore.so: undefined symbol: xvid_init" I checked following XviD versions: 1.0.2 1.1-beta1 With both versions the above error is been printed. Before there was the problem that transcode couldn't find the /usr/local/lib/xvidcore.so because only these were installed: /usr/local/lib/xvidcore.so.4 /usr/local/lib/xvidcore.so.4.0 (symlink, IIRC) This I solved by adding another symlink. I never used the import_xvid module before. Problem remains. Is there any hint or tip? - Stephen -- Rich people have precise clocks. Wise people have time.
