xvid encoding problems with linux

Hello all Xvid users out there,

I am really desperate. I tried to encode a video file with ffmpeg on my 
debian system but it just doesn't work
Since encoding works with other codecs it think xvid is the problem. 
After encoding all I get is a .mp4 file, the audio
works fine, but no video is available.

Here is my logfile, I hope you can help.
