Sorry for the spam, I understood what was wrong : when using linphonecsh under the hood it was calling linphonec v5.1. I both have v5.1 & v5.2 on my PI, and 5.2 is noticeably better. I just had to change the PATH environment variable to force linphonecsh to spawn linphonec 5.2

thanks.

Objet : video quality with linphonecsh degraded vs linphonec, and alos between incoming & outgoing call

I am using Linphone5.2 on the raspberry PI5 and I notice a severe video quality degradation when using linphonecsh and the daemon vs using the plain linphonec , is there a workaround to this problem ? I have tried changing the process priority with 'renice', but the problem is still there : video seems lagging close to 1 sec, and when the camera moves I can see pixelization for a few seconds when using linphonecsh, while linphonec doesn't show this problem. Similarly the video quality is quite better when the PI initiates the call vs the PI receiving the call, any idea what could explain this ? Since the 2 parties are the same and not changing, I can't explain this.

thanks

Best Regards

John
