I run debian and devuan linux installations, but there seems to be no
longer a deb package available. I see that there is a monstrous AppImage
which I could download. I say "monstrous" because it is 40 times larger
than a proper deb package, nearly 0.1GB! Presumably because it contains
all the dependent libraries maybe statically linked.

I compare
rw-rw-r-- 1 foo bar 2.7M May 22 2024 linphone-desktop_5.1.2-2+b1_amd64.deb
with
-rw-rw-r-- 1 foo bar 105M Apr 7 16:12 Linphone-5.2.6.AppImage

I admit that I have not checked the total size of the dependent debs
that would need to be installed.

Even in these days of relatively cheap storage, 105M is still excessive.

I have a clone of the linphone-desktop git and it wasn't immediately
obvious that I could build a dynamically linked linphone binary easily,
but perhaps I will need to do that but installing all the developer
packages will take some time and effort.

Is there a current deb binary package that I have missed?
