I read on https://wiki.linphone.org/xwiki/wiki/public/view/Lib/Features/
Vcard4%20contacts/ that linphone does not implement Basic authentification, but
only Digest authentification. Is this still correct?

As far as I can tell Nextcloud uses either basic authentification (over https)
or more advanced schemes.

This would explain the incompatibility at least.

Thanks
Rainer
