I have this situation : for the moment I use only the desktop version of
Linphone.
I would prefer not to have the microphone on on the computer all the
time. When I am not using it I simply turn it off.
However, when someone calls I need it on immediately. Unfortunately, the
microphone is not picked up by the Linphone application.
Thus, the caller cannot hear me. I can hear him.
That is why I have done some tests to try to fix that.Unfortunately it
does not work.
Tests:
I have the app on all the time. Microphone off.
1. I go to settings : Calls settings where there is a microphone
setting. I plug in the microphone using the usb cable and the microphone
is recognized.
When I go out of this setting to e.g. to make a call i.e. Calls - but I
am already out of the settings and I go back into the settings again the
microphone
is not seen at all.So again I need the mic off and on for it to be
recognized. Unfortunately as for example now the microphone is no longer
recognized at all.
Changing to individual mics from the settings does not much. The
microphone is still sometimes recognized and sometimes not.
2.If even sometimes the microphone is recognized in the settings but I
leave the settings and come back again the microphone is again not visible.
3.If even sometimes the microphone is recognized in the settings and I
save it by turning on save and exit the settings and come back again the
microphone again is not recognized. The system does not see it.
Is there any other version of the application other than AppImage which
could not have this kind of issue?
