SIP MESSAGE resends

Hello:


So I am trying to send pager-mode IMs using nist-sip and I can see the
MESSAGE going out and the subsequent OK from the user agent (and the im
pops up on the user agent eyebeam).


But about .5 secs later (the timeout setting) I see a resend as if we
didn't get that OK (but I know I do because my SipListener triggers
processResponse though I don't do anything).  Eventually it stops after
1 or 2 resends but I can't make it send just once and I'm not sure why
it stops.

 

This probably could be solved if I did my IM traffic over TCP, but for
now I'm using UDP.  What else am I doing wrong?  Any suggestions?
