This is a great addition and the experience gained from this will most likely appear in JAIN SIP. Thanks phelim -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of M. Ranganathan Sent: 09 March 2006 15:23 To: sip mailing Subject: [nist-sip] IMS header support added to nist-sip nist-sip ( but not JAIN-SIP 1.2 ) now includes support for IMS headers. This support has been placed in the pacakge gov.nist.javax.sip.header.ims. To enable Header factory support for these headers, you have to cast your header factory to gov.nist.javax.sip.header.HeaderFactoryImpl. The IMS header support is SPECIFIC to nist-sip and is NOT a part of the JAIN-SIP specification. There is ABSOLUTELY no guarantee that if and when IMS support is included into the JAIN-SIP specification, it will look anything like the headers defined in this package. This package was contributed by Jose Miguel Freitas (Aveiro University, Portugal) and Alexandre Miguel Silva Santos (PT Inovacau, Portugal). If you have any questions about this support, please direct them to the nist-sip mailing list and one of the authors will respond. Many thanks to the authors for contributing this code and for agreeing to help maintain it. Regards, Ranga -- M.
