Question on the JAIN-SIP IM CLient

Hi,

I tried out the JAIN-SIP IM Client for the People! 
(http://snad.ncsl.nist.gov/proj/iptel/src/nist-sip/jain-sip-presence-proxy/docs/gov/nist/sip/instantmessaging/README.html) 
and it's really nice because it can be used to exercise (in a humanly 
visible way) some server-side presence functionality I'm working on and 
it behaves pretty well (unlike some of the more famous IM/buddy 
clients). Plus I can see the code.

My question is, is it living on and being maintained? (Are people making 
changes/corrections to it?) I'm on the nist-sip mailing list but don't 
see much activity about it there. I fixed one thing where IM Client 
wasn't returning the opaque value received in an authentication 
challenge, now that works. Is there somewhere I should send the fix to?

Also, will it be integrated with Sip Communicator to provide presence 
functionality, or will it be forgotten once Sip Communicator has 
presence? Just wondering about future plans for the IM Client.

Do you know when SUBSCRIBE sending/NOTIFY receiving will be available on 
Sip Communicator?
