Hi,
like Aniruddha, I'm also looking at the Presence part of the proxy. I
notice that the traces viewer does not a show a 202 OK response that the
IM client is sending back in response to a forwarded SUBSCRIBE request.
And actually this 202 OK response is not in the server_log.txt file.
So strangely the trace viewers displays something like:
IM client 1 Proxy
IM client 2
---------------------------------------->
Subscribe
--------------------------------->
Subscribe
<---------------------------------------
202 OK
I know that the server has received a 202 OK from IM client 2 because
the proxy-output.txt clearly shows it and indicates that it has been
forwarded to IM client 1.
Just to spare me some time to dig into the source code to find it, could
you tell me which class is used to write into the server_log.txt file
and where it is called to dump the requests and responses the proxy
receives?
Then this raises another question, how does IM client 1 get the IM
client 2 presence status in response to its SUBSCRIBE? Shouldn't the
proxy send a NOTIFY? Or does it assume that IM client 2 will send a
PUBLISH? Is this defined somewhere, e.g. in rfc 3265, or is it left to
the implementers?
Thx.
